Design Retro Works have designed and tested our first production amplifier
The amp is closely based around the high end studio amps hand
made in Britain in the 50s, 60s and early 70s that Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Dave Davis, Jimmy Page, Peter Green, John Entwistle,
Dave Gilmore etc. used to have before mass production took over.
These amplifiers were totally clean valve amplifiers and the
originals are now
very sought after by studios worldwide.

Named AVIA (all-valve instrument amplifier), these are now

suggests, the AVIA all-valve instrument amplifier can be used
to amplify most kinds of stringed instrument or keyboards, results
are obviously dependant on the use of suitable speakers.

control - adds great lows, 4 way Range switch - this sets the
bass roll-off frequency, Middle control- adds the mids, HF Gain
- similar to the LF gain but for some great highs, Master Volume
.....! Paralleled speaker outputs with selectable impedance
between 4 or 8 ohms, LED switch for the internal "LED's".
The amplifier output stage is based around 2 x 5881 so is rated
around 45 watts, and is an ultra-linear design for those great
